Sarah is a strategic leader who has served in both technical and operational capacities, managing annual budgets of $ 25+ million and leading and supporting staff teams of 300+. Through postings in Malawi, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Tanzania, Sarah has 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, project design, planning, implementation and evaluation, organizational restructuring, building and leading successful teams, and mentoring and coaching talent. She is also a trained and experienced facilitator, as well as experience in managing non-profit governance boards in line with established best practice. 

Sarah has provided technical assistance in market development and facilitation, social marketing, social and behavioral change communications, HIV, ASRH and malaria. She has exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills and enjoys applying them to improve communication of complex issues to establish trust and create a shared way forward. Sarah calls a small eco-house in Scotland home and loves walking the Scottish mountains, practicing yoga, reading and spending time with her daughter and dog.
