Brian brings thirty years of expertise in designing, managing, and evaluating international development projects across a diverse range of sectors. He has successfully led large-scale programs in Africa, driving innovative and high-impact initiatives in areas such as HIV/AIDS prevention, reproductive health, malaria control, child survival, and private sector engagement in health. He has led teams of national staff to deliver transformative solutions that improve the well-being of communities.

In addition to his work in health, Brian has managed energy access programs with a focus on public-private partnerships, social enterprise support, and innovative financing mechanisms that expand sustainable access to energy.

As a consultant, Brian has provided strategic guidance to non-profits, foundations, governments, and bilateral and multilateral donors, helping them develop strategies, analyze markets, prioritize investments, and design effective interventions.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys running, hiking, biking, and swimming around the Washington, DC area, all while he and his wife try to keep pace with three grown children who have left the nest.
